With the rapid changes and new information daily regarding Coronavirus (COVID-19), we are taking the concerns of the situation very seriously, including enacting our Business Preparedness and Continuity Plan.
DUMAC continually monitors the latest guidance issued by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and that of local, state, and federal agencies for preparation and response to COVID-19. We want to keep you informed of the immediate steps we are taking to not only limit the spread of the virus but also to maintain optimal service and support during this evolving situation.
As part of our Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity plans, we operate two identical geo-disparate data centers fully capable of running all operations to minimize potential interruption in service to our customers. We also have numerous Security Operations Centers to assure we have a multi-layer defense and resiliency should any layer fail.
DUMAC has multiple Help Desk Customer Support locations across varying time zones to reduce the risk of disruption at any one area that would affect our level of service and support. DUMAC personnel have the experience to support your business remotely should the need arise.
DUMAC has restricted non-essential business travel for our team members. We will continue to support installations and training currently scheduled until the possible severity of the situation may cause a shift in our schedules. Our primary goal remains the fulfillment of our obligations to you, and the continued support of your location, your employees, and overall operations during this continuing situation.
Due to the CDC recommendations to avoid large gatherings, DUMAC has canceled our attendance at trade shows and industry events, including the cancellation of the 2020 RORC User Conference. If you are a sponsor or have already registered for the User Conference, you will be contacted directly regarding your refund.
DUMAC will continue to monitor the recommendations provided by the CDC and governmental offices, but we are adopting social distancing tactics to lessen the transmission of the virus.
We have implemented heightened personal hygiene practices across our offices, but also equipment hygiene processes. We have recommended steps that you may take to safely clean the equipment at your location.
Our business locations and offices remain open and operational. We will continue to review any recommendations provided by the CDC as we determine the most appropriate steps to take to ensure the safety and health of our extended communities. DUMAC will provide updates through direct email communications and updated posts on our website and social channels.
For additional information, please contact DUMAC at any time with questions or concerns you may have.
Thank you for the opportunity to work with you and your continued loyalty and partnership with DUMAC.
Best Regards,
Howard M. McCarthy
